A lightweight service that enables AI assistants to execute AWS CLI commands through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Requires AWS credentials configured on the host. Supports configuration via environment variables including AWS_MCP_TIMEOUT, AWS_MCP_MAX_OUTPUT, AWS_MCP_TRANSPORT, AWS_PROFILE, AWS_REGION, AWS_MCP_SECURITY_MODE, and AWS_MCP_SECURITY_CONFIG (path to custom security config file).
